What is the weather forecast for the Southport Flower Show?
It’s nearly here - the magnificent annual Southport Flower Show will return again on Thursday.
The horticultural extravaganza - which is the largest independent event of its kind in the UK and has been has been running since 1924 - attracts around 80,000 visitors every year.
It will run from August 17 to Sunday August 20.
Star guests include TV legends John Craven and Charlie Dimmock, who will open the show.
And youngsters will be thrilled to see CBeebies stars Mr Bloom and Mr Tumble.
So how’s the weather going to be like for this year’s festival?
It’s probably best described as a mixed bag - and it certainly won’t be a scorcher.
